A new home for every generation
Did you know that by 2022 we have provided over 20,000 families with safe and affordable housing? This is the power of Habitat’s “a helping hand, not a handout” approach. We believe that when given the opportunity, individuals and families can take pride in owning their own home, and we are honored to be part of this journey.
New Developments in Affordability
We are proud to announce that our affordable home sales program has seen significant growth, with over 100 homes sold in the last quarter alone. These homes are designed and built with the specific needs of low-income families in mind, ensuring that homeowners can live comfortably without worrying about the burden of housing costs.
Mobilize volunteers across the country
With the help of tens of thousands of volunteers each year, we are able to make a significant difference in the lives of our home buyers. Over the past year, more than 50,000 people have donated their time and talent to help us build affordable homes, repair homes in partnership with homeowners, and renovate community spaces. Their efforts have had a ripple effect, bringing entire communities together and creating opportunities for growth and development.
Breaking barriers and building the future
As part of our ongoing commitment to equality and accessibility, we have launched a new initiative aimed at removing barriers for marginalized communities.
