Campaigners fighting to stop a proposed incinerator being built inInvergordon are getting ready to make the case for a public local inquiry at a meeting This Thursday. (28th April 2011)
Scottish Government reporter Richard Dent will hold a pre-examination meeting to enable objectors to put forward their case for the appeal to be dealt with by an inquiry.
The £43million incinerator scheme proposed by Combined Heat and Power for the Cromarty Firth Industrial Estate at Invergordon was previously refused planning permission by Highland Council, but was backed on appeal to Scottish ministers.
